Your quiz answers and address stay in your browser (sessionStorage) and are cleared when you close the tab. We don't have user accounts and we don't store your address on our servers.

When you look up an address, our server forwards it to the City of Portland's public PortlandMaps service to fetch public parcel records (zoning, lot size, building details), returns the result to your browser, and keeps only a short-lived cache so repeat lookups don't re-hit the city's servers.

We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous, cookie-free page metrics, and we count clicks on outbound marketplace links (which link was clicked, not who clicked it).
